À esquerda, o convite pra exposição com cem gravuras e 4 esculturas feitas em homenagem ao espanhol Antoni Gaudí (1852-1926) . O convite, em forma de pôster, foi criado pelo colega Joan Miró, em Barcelona, em 1979 (4 anos antes de falecer).

Quando conheci as obras monumentais de Gaudí em Barcelona, fiquei maravilhada… Na época, pintei várias telas inspiradas nele.
No ano passado, ao pintar a telinha à direita, comecei a rir sozinha: lá estava eu, de novo, na vibe do Gaudí…
* Técnica de gravura em que a criação é feita com um lápis gorduroso sobre uma matriz em pedra calcária. A litografia foi usada inclusive pela imprensa, no século XIX.

GAUDI
On the left, the invitation to exhibit with one hundred engravings and four sculptures made in honor of the Spanish Antoni Gaudi (1852-1926). The invitation, in poster form, was created by his colleague Joan Miró in Barcelona in 1979 (four years before his death).

When I met the monumental works of Gaudi in Barcelona, I was got amazed… At the time, I painted several canvas inspired on him.
Last year, when painting the small screen to the right, I started laughing alone: there I was, again, on the vibe of Gaudi…
* Engraving technique in which creation is made with a greasy pencil on a matrix of limestone. The lithograph was even used by the press in the nineteenth century.
